Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and RowQ (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the RowQ website, applications, and services at rowqstudy.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

We treat everyone who uses RowQ as a user. Use the Service only where the laws that apply to you permit it.

RowQ is an AI-powered study platform: AI explanations, practice questions (MCQs and 1/2/3/5-mark and case-study questions), timed practice, competitive study battles, performance tracking, and personalized study insights, currently focused on the CBSE curriculum for Classes 9–12.

RowQ is a study aid, not a replacement for teachers, textbooks, or official syllabi. RowQ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by CBSE or any other board or examination authority; board names are used only to describe what the material relates to.

RowQ treats everyone who uses it as a user, and we don’t collect your age or date of birth. You may use RowQ only where the laws that apply to you allow it, and — where those laws require the permission or involvement of a parent or legal guardian — only with that involvement. By using the Service, you confirm that you can form a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you, or that a parent or guardian who can has agreed to these Terms on your behalf. You are responsible for using RowQ in line with the laws of your country or region.

• Register with Google login or email login, using accurate information.
• You’re responsible for your account’s security and activity. Report unauthorized use to support@rowqstudy.com.
• One account per person. Don’t share, sell, or transfer accounts.

• RowQ offers paid plans (currently ₹499, ₹899, and ₹1999, or as shown in the Service). Each plan’s limits and features are described in the Service and in our Subscription & Pricing Terms at the time of purchase.
• Plan contents, limits, and available AI models may change over time; we’ll give notice of significant changes to an active paid plan. On some plans and features, model routing is automatic.
• Payments go through third-party payment processors; by purchasing, you also accept their terms. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout.
• You can cancel anytime to stop future charges; your plan stays active for the period already paid. Refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

You agree not to:

• Break any law or use the Service to harm others;
• Hack, probe, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service, or bypass limits, plan restrictions, or security measures;
• Use bots, scripts, or automation to access the Service or gain an advantage in matches;
• Misuse AI features — jailbreaking, prompt injection, extracting system prompts, generating illegal or harmful content, or bulk-extracting outputs to build a competing product (see the AI Use Policy);
• Use offensive, impersonating, or misleading display names, or include personal details in them;
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, or share others’ personal information;
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service or its outputs at scale without written permission;
• Upload malware or infringing content.

Competitive features only work if they’re fair. In matches and rankings, don’t: use automation or auto-answer tools; get answers from a second device, another person, or an outside AI/search tool during a live match; exploit bugs (report them instead); win-trade, lose on purpose to manipulate ranks, or collude; or interfere with an opponent’s connection.

Friend and room codes are for people you actually want to play with — don’t spam them. Other users can see your display name, results, scores, rankings, and online status.

We run automated anti-cheat systems and keep related logs. We may void or adjust matches, reset scores or ranks, restrict competitive features, or suspend accounts for violations — and you can appeal any decision at support@rowqstudy.com. Ranks and scores have no monetary value; RowQ PvP involves no wagering, betting, or prize-linked entry fees.

You own the prompts, answers, and material you submit (“Your Content”). You give RowQ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display Your Content as needed to run, secure, and improve the Service, including showing limited match information to other users. Don’t submit sensitive information — AI chats are stored and not end-to-end encrypted (see the Privacy Policy).

You may use AI outputs generated for you for personal, non-commercial study. Outputs may be similar to those generated for other users. The Service’s software, design, branding, and materials belong to RowQ or its licensors; apart from the rights granted here, none transfer to you.

If you send us feedback, suggestions, ratings, bug reports, or ideas about RowQ, we may use them freely to operate and improve the Service, with no obligation, restriction, or payment to you. You’re never required to send feedback, but if you do, you grant us the right to use it.

We may add, change, limit, or remove features, plans, models, or limits at any time, with notice for significant changes to paid plans. Features marked beta or early access are experimental and provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation — maintenance, outages, and third-party failures happen. The Service depends on third-party providers (infrastructure, AI models, payments, analytics, security), whose availability and terms we don’t control.

You can stop using RowQ and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, for material breaches of these Terms, risk or legal exposure, or where the law requires — warning first where reasonable. On termination your right to use the Service ends; ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms survive. Paid fees are refundable only per the Refund & Cancellation Policy or as the law requires.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing here removes consumer rights that can’t be excluded under applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law: RowQ isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, marks, results, opportunities, or goodwill; and RowQ’s total liability for all claims won’t exceed the amount you paid RowQ in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹5,000, whichever is greater. Where the law doesn’t allow certain limits, they apply as far as it allows.

We aren’t liable for any failure or delay in providing the Service caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including internet, hosting, or power outages; failures of third-party providers (such as infrastructure, AI model, payment, or analytics providers); network failures; cyberattacks; natural disasters; strikes; or government actions.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to cover RowQ against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or violation of law or others’ rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any non-waivable consumer rights where you live. Before filing a claim, contact support@rowqstudy.com — most issues resolve quickly.

We may update these Terms; we’ll update the date above and give notice of significant changes. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them. These Terms plus referenced policies are the entire agreement. If a part is unenforceable, the rest stands. Not enforcing a provision isn’t a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
